Virginia Executive Mansion Holiday Schedule Announced

Virginia's Executive Mansion will be open for official tours on four days this December, with extended hours on each occasion. In addition, the Mansion will host two holiday open houses. Appointments are required for holiday tours, they are not necessary for open houses.

Executive Mansion Holiday Tour Date and Times. For appointments please call 804-371-2642:

December 14 - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
December 15 - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
December 16 - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
December 19 - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Executive Mansion Holiday Open House Date and Times. Appointments are not necessary for the open house.

December 20- 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
December 21 - 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Due to the ongoing filming of "Lincoln" at the Mansion and Capitol Square, there will be no Capitol Tree Lighting this year. This is in line with precedent from 2005 and 2006 when Capitol renovations did not allow for a tree lighting in those years. The Christmas tree will go up on the South Portico on December 19th and will be lit from that date forward.
